These terms are the agreement between you and Kynos when you use our website and app. By creating an account or using Kynos, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use it.
Who can use Kynos
You must be 18 or older. You need to give us accurate details when you sign up and keep your sign-in private. Tell us right away if someone else gets into your account.
What Kynos is, and is not
Kynos gives you frameworks, practices, maps, a journal and an AI Guide to help you notice and work on your own patterns.
Kynos is not therapy, medical care or a crisis service. It does not diagnose or treat any condition, and the Guide is not a clinician. Nothing in Kynos replaces advice from a qualified professional. If you are in crisis or in danger, call your local emergency number.
The Guide and AI-written content
Some of what you see is written by an AI. It can be wrong or may not fit your situation. Use your own judgment, and do not rely on it for medical, legal or financial decisions.
Your content
What you write and save stays yours. You give us permission to store it and process it only to run Kynos for you, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can export or delete it at any time.
Do not put in anything unlawful, or anything that belongs to someone else without their permission.
Using Kynos fairly
Do not try to break, overload or get around the security of the service. Do not copy or resell our content, scrape it, or use it to build a competing product. Do not use Kynos to harm anyone.
Plans, trials and payments
Some features need a paid plan. The price, any free trial and the billing period are shown before you pay. Payments are handled by Stripe.
Paid plans renew until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account settings, and you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. Unless the law says otherwise, we do not give refunds for part of a period.
Our content
The frameworks, practices, audio, designs and software in Kynos belong to us or our licensors. We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use them for your own use while your account is open.
Ending your account
You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or close it if you break these terms or put others at risk. If we do, we will tell you why where we can.
When things go wrong
We work to keep Kynos available and accurate, but we provide it as it is and cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or error free. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have by law that cannot be limited.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will tell you in the app or by email before it starts. If you keep using Kynos after that, you accept the new terms.
Governing law
The governing law and where disputes are heard will be stated here once confirmed in the final version.
