KYNOS Case Study Notice and Release

This notice adds to the KYNOS Privacy Policy for members who agree to take part in a KYNOS case study. Taking part is optional. Saying no, or changing your mind later, never affects your KYNOS access or your pilot place.

What a case study is

A case study follows your experience with KYNOS over 60 to 90 days and may become a published story about it. You decide what can be used, you see the final version before anything is published, and nothing is published without your approval.

What we collect for it

• Interviews with you. We record an interview only if you agree at the start, and recordings are deleted 30 days after the final transcript is approved.
• Notes from those interviews.
• Information from your KYNOS account, only from the categories you choose below.

No one reads your Kai conversations or journal for a case study. If you want something you wrote to be part of your story, you share it with us yourself.

How you will be identified

You will be shown by your first name only. We will not publish your last name, employer, or exact location.

A first name is not the same as being anonymous. Together with the details of your story, it may let people who know you recognize you. A photo, your voice, or a video identifies you directly. Please choose with that in mind.

Free access is disclosed

Because you received free access to KYNOS, every published piece that includes your story or words will say so.

What you allow

Tick each item you agree to. Anything left unticked will not be used.

What can be used

• A written story about my experience
• Direct quotes from me
• My check-in and progress information, for example how my steadiness changed over time
• A photo of me
• Audio of my voice
• Video of me
• Health or recovery details I share, including that I am in recovery. This requires your explicit consent, given by ticking this box.

Where it can appear

• The KYNOS website
• KYNOS social media
• Paid advertising
• Presentations to partners and investors

Changing your mind

Before publication, you can withdraw by emailing connect@kynosnow.com, and nothing will be published.

After publication, we will remove your story from every channel we control within 10 business days of your request. We cannot recall copies others have already saved or shared, or printed materials already distributed.

This permission lasts 24 months from the date you sign. After that, we ask again before using your story anywhere new.

What we keep

We keep this signed release, and a record of what you approved, for as long as your story is in use and for three years after, as proof of your permission. Everything else collected for the case study follows the Privacy Policy.
